On the eve of its 100th anniversary, the McCord Stewart Museum has announced a legacy project that will benefit generations of Montrealers in addition to attracting thousands of tourists each year.

With a collection of 1.5 million artefacts chronicling the city's history from pre-colonial times to the present day, the new museum will be an essential reference on Montreal and its role as a driving force in Canada’s development.
