Supporting economic development in uncertain times: Investissement Québec’s crucial mission

Over the past five years, Investissement Québec has transformed into a powerful growth driver for local businesses.  Against the backdrop of a health crisis, technical recession and geopolitical tensions, the State corporation has evolved from a financing company to an economic development agency for Québec, closely attuned to the needs of entrepreneurs.

Its president and CEO, Bicha Ngo, provides a positive assessment of Investissement Québec’s transformation. Thanks to its integrated offering of financing and support services from experts, Investissement Québec has played a crucial role in helping our businesses grow, making them more productive, protecting Québec’s ownership of our flagship companies, and showcasing their expertise internationally.

In this speech, Ms. Ngo will reflect on the journey over the past five years, the challenges encountered, and the opportunities seized. She will also outline how IQ plans to continue contributing to the growth of Québec’s economy.
The address will be followed by a conversation with Michèle Boisvert, economic columnist and former Québec delegate general in Paris.

Please note that the presentation will be in French.
